Michael J. Cummings
Founder/CEO
A 44-year construction industry veteran with over 38 years with MIKEN Builders, Michael J. Cummings is a seasoned professional who brings his passion for building to all that he does. He enjoys working with the MIKEN team to create a Wow factor for every project. Michael loves spending time with his family and hitting the golf course when he isn’t volunteering with Contractors for a Cause and St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Michael also was instrumental for the funding and development of Justin’s Beach House and is active with the Beebe Hospital 1916 Club and is a past President of the Bethany Chamber of Commerce. Michael is a proud husband to Kathleen, his wife of 39 years, a loving father to his children Patrick, Catie, Sean and his grandchildren Savannah, Noah, Hannah, Lincoln, and Lottie.
Sean Cummings
Partner / Project Manager
Sean Cummings has been a valued part of MIKEN Builders for over 11 years and has over 17 years of experience in the construction industry. He enjoys the creativity that custom home construction provides and appreciates the reward that comes with taking a client’s vision and making it a reality. He especially enjoys traveling with his wife Zoe and three children, Noah, Hannah, and Lincoln. Sean also enjoys boating, water sports, golf and working with his tools.
Jim Coffey
Vice President
Jim Coffey’s construction career has spanned over 40 years, 20 of which were spent with MIKEN Builders. He enjoys working with the MIKEN team because custom home construction is rewarding and challenging. When he isn’t working, he spends time with his son, riding motorcycles, music, traveling, surfing, golfing, and boating.
Steve DiCecco
Chief Estimator
Steve is the Chief Estimator at Miken Builders. He has over 10 years’ experience, ranging from residential remodeling to commercial construction. Steve has degrees in Business Administration, Sales, and Marketing. He is happily married to his wife Tara and has two teenage sons, Nick, and Daniel. When not working, Steve enjoys spending time with his family in the great outdoors gardening, camping, fishing, and enjoying the beach life.
Bob Craighton
Superintendent
Bob Craighton has over 43 years in the construction industry and has been a valued member of MIKEN Builders for over 37 years. He began his career after high school in carpentry and has continued to grow and flourish through his time working with MIKEN and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. He enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, and grandchildren, in addition to fishing and hunting.
Gary Pitman
Superintendent
With over 33 years of experience in the construction industry and 24 years working with the team at MIKEN, Gary Pitman has a true passion for creating custom homes. He enjoys spending time with his son and daughter in the great outdoors hunting and fishing. Gary also gives back to the community through Contractors for a Cause.
Frank Costango
Superintendent
Frank has 20 years of building experience. Carpenter by trade. Degree in Architectural Engineering, project management, estimating and AutoCAD operator. Enjoy taking an empty space and creating something beautiful and functional, that people can enjoy for a lifetime. In his free time, he enjoys time with his family, fishing, hiking, coach softball, woodworking.
Rick Schooley
Superintendent
Rick joined the MIKEN team in 2018 and is a mason by trade. He enjoys the challenges and opportunities working in the field managing his projects. He has 3 daughters: Alexis, Azalea, and Eloise. He’s involved with the local community and a member of the Fisher of Men Organization.
JoAnn Pullin
Office Manager
JoAnn Pullin has been a valued member of the MIKEN team for over 24 years, managing multiple tasks, keeping the office running efficiently. Outside of her work with MIKEN and her volunteering with Contractors for a Cause. Enjoys spending time with her husband Kevin, her daughter Holly, grandchildren Harper and Noah. JoAnn is a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and enjoys walking the beach searching for shells, creating shell art and early morning walks with her fur baby Daisy.
Teressa Payne
Accounting Manager
Teressa has been with Miken Builders for 14 years, responsible for accounting and financial management. She was born and raised in Queens, New York, and relocated to Sussex County, Delaware, in 1999. She enjoys spending time with her family and loves being a dance mom for her granddaughter.
Brittany Gross
Selection Specialist & Project Manager Assistant
Brittany has an extensive background in operations, client relationship management, and was an integral part of multiple restaurants builds in Morgantown, WV (Let’s Go Mountaineers) and Southern Delaware. She enjoys building relationships with our clients and is dedicated to ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience through proactive communication, creativity, and attention to detail. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband Thomson and three sons, Jonah, Rowan, and Jamie. She enjoys cooking, reading, amateur cake decorating, and volunteering in her community. She is currently a Lord Baltimore PTO board member and was a founding board member of the Lindsay Williams Stronger than Cancer Elimination Dinner.
Zoe Cummings
Administrative Assistant
Zoe Cummings joined the Miken team in 2022 after 5 years in Real Estate. She was instrumental in managing sales and selections development for Miken’s community, Southern Landing. She is now in charge of social media for the company.
Zoe is Co-President of the Lord Baltimore PTO which has successfully raised money to build an outdoor classroom for the students and teachers at the school. She was born and raised in New Zealand but moved to the USA to be with her husband, Sean. Together they have 3 kids and love to spend time on the boat with them. She loves working out and enjoying a good thriller novel.
