Hercules Film Coating Project
Location: Wilmington, DEThe Hercules Film Coating Project consisted of a total renovation of an existing warehouse that was transformed into a pigment coating facility. A large portion of the project involved creating several “clean rooms”, which required special wall panels that could be sprayed with water and washed down on a daily basis. These walls extended over two stories in a few areas. Some other features of this project include installation of floor drains to allow the water being used in the production process drain away, high-speed entrance doors so that very little air and dust entered the production areas, and a second floor mezzanine that was converted into office support space.
