Location: Newark, DEThis was a two-phase project. The 1st phase consisted of demolition of two office areas, followed by a fit-out to give the administrative personnel a place to work while we did the major renovations in the 2nd phase. The library remained open during this construction process to both the students and the public. Great care was taken to ensure a safe, quiet and clean work environment. This phase of the project, which included floor penetrations, was located on the second floor directly above their rare book collection. This project was completed without a "hitch" and earned high praises from the entire construction team.
