Clayton Crossing
At Clayton Crossing, two large buildings were erected from the ground-up. The project consisted of the construction of a 20,000 square foot office building and a 16,000 square foot retail building. Work included all foundation, site, and exterior work. The interior of these buildings were prepped for fit-out with plumbing and ductwork included.
Hercules Film Coating Project
The Hercules Film Coating Project consisted of a total renovation of an existing warehouse that was transformed into a pigment coating facility. A large portion of the project involved creating several “clean rooms”, which required special wall panels that could be sprayed with water and washed down on a daily basis. These walls extended over two stories in a few areas. Some other features of this project include installation of floor drains to allow the water being used in the production process drain away, high-speed entrance doors so that very little air and dust entered the production areas, and a second floor mezzanine that was converted into office support space.
Verizon Generator Replacement
Location: Wilmington, DE This project consisted of removing two existing turbine generators, and their housings, from the rooftop at Verizon’s main office in Delaware at 901 Tatnall Street. The turbines were replaced with two diesel generators that were preinstalled in a 2-piece building enclosure. The combined weight of both generators, including the housing, was 44 tons. A 500 ton crane was used to set the units on the rooftop. Fuel lines were run from the rooftop to the lower level of the building to feed the new generators.
